On 24 March, a new innovative concept of VinAuthority was successfully run the first time: a well balanced mix between ‘Wine Enthusiast Class on Sangiovese Grosso’ and ‘Dinner with Good Friends’. The positive parts of both components – the seriousness of learning new content about one of the most amazing & famous wines on the one hand and the light-hearted atmosphere among easy-going people – were the cornerstones of the event.

Christal gave a masterful presentation about the art of tasting and rating wines in general, about fundamentals like origin, history, production, professional developments, regulations of Brunello di Montalcino and Sangiovese Grosso and enjoyed the participants with intensive tasting experiences. The event developed in a very interactive way with a lot of questions, answers, comments and personal perceptions. The used slide deck and an augmented reality video were very appreciated.
It is intended to continue applying this format shortly in Switzerland, Germany, Spain, France and Italy
